September 11, 2026Public Service Association (PSA) Investments Company Pte Limited has officially broken ground on its $60 million hotel development in Martintar, Nadi, today marking a significant new investment in Fiji’s tourism sector.
Minister for Finance Hon. Esrom Immanuel officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony for the seven-storey, 102-room hotel, which will operate as Day’s Inn by Wyndham through a partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific Pte Limited.
The Minister said the project demonstrates confidence in Fiji’s economy and will create opportunities for local businesses and workers.
“This is a vote of confidence in Fiji, a vote of confidence in Nadi and, most importantly, a vote of confidence in the future of our people and our economy,” he said.
He said the Government welcomed investments that generate employment, strengthen local businesses and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
“We want investment that creates lasting value for Fiji — investment that generates employment, builds local capacity, supports businesses and communities, and contributes to sustainable economic growth.”
The project is expected to create opportunities for local contractors, suppliers and tradespeople during construction, with further employment opportunities once the hotel becomes operational.
The Minister also encouraged PSA Investments Company and its partners to maximise local employment, procurement, skills development and participation of Fijian businesses throughout the project.
The Government commended PSA Investments Company for its commitment to Fiji and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific for its partnership, as the development moves forward to strengthen Nadi’s tourism and investment landscape.
