The transfer follows the RBF’s net profit of $120.6 million for the 2025/26 financial year, marking the fourth consecutive year that the Bank has recorded a profit exceeding $100 million and its third-highest profit in history.
Minister Immanuel commended the RBF Board, management and staff for the Bank’s strong financial performance, prudent management of foreign reserves and continued commitment to sound governance.
“This transfer is a significant contribution to Government finances and reflects the Reserve Bank’s prudent management of the nation’s foreign reserves and public assets,” Minister Immanuel said.
He also acknowledged the Bank for completing its 2025/26 audited financial statements in less than two months after the end of the financial year and achieving another clean audit outcome.
“The RBF continues to demonstrate strong standards of accountability, transparency and financial management. Its role goes beyond its financial contribution to Government. Maintaining monetary and financial stability is critical to investor confidence, business activity and the resilience of our economy,” he said.
