Finance Minister Highlights Strong FRCS Revenue Performance

The Minister for Finance, Hon. Esrom Immanuel, reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening accountability, transparency and public financial management in the delivery of Government programmes.
Responding to the Review Report on the 2022 Compliance Audit Report on the COVID-19 Cash Assistance and Food Ration Distribution Programmes in Parliament yesterday, the Minister acknowledged the governance and administrative challenges faced during the pandemic.
He highlighted reforms introduced since then, including stronger internal controls, improved digital payment and data systems, enhanced financial reconciliation, procurement reforms and better emergency response preparedness.
