The Ministry of Finance convened the second Accounting Heads Forum for the 2026/2027 financial year on 28 October 2026 at Suvavou House, bringing together Accounting Heads and representatives from Government ministries, departments and agencies.
The forum focused on strengthening public financial management, accountability and service delivery through improved collaboration, leadership and compliance with financial legislation.
Participants discussed internal controls, records management, procurement planning, budget reforms and the new budget management system.
