The Ministerial Budget Consultations for the 2026–2027 National Budget commenced today, bringing together Government ministers and senior officials to discuss national priorities, economic challenges and key development plans for the upcoming fiscal year.
The consultations are expected to focus on strengthening economic resilience, supporting critical sectors and ensuring that budget allocations align with the Government’s development agenda and the needs of Fijians.
The discussions will help shape policy direction and funding priorities ahead of the tabling of the 2026–2027 National Budget this year.
