Fiji has strengthened its push toward digital public services with the launch of a new Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS) website aimed at improving access, transparency, and taxpayer experience.
The platform was officially launched by the Minister for Finance, Commerce and Business Development, Hon. Esrom Immanuel, in Suva.
“This is not simply about unveiling a new website, but reflects the steady progress FRCS is making in modernising its services,” he said.
The new site offers clearer information, improved self-service features, and a chatbot to assist users more efficiently.
Hon. Immanuel said better access to information will support voluntary compliance.
“When guidance is easy to find and understand, people are far more likely to comply,” he said.
He added that the initiative aligns with Government’s SAUTU Communications Framework and acknowledged support from the Australian Government and the Australian Taxation Office.
The new platform is expected to enhance how taxpayers and businesses interact with FRCS while supporting a more efficient and transparent revenue system.
