The Ministry of Education wishes to inform the public of the roll-out of the Back to School Assistance (BTSA) program and the commencement of dedicated support operations.
On the first day of its operations, the teams noted that there were some issues which are as follows:
- a) schools not submitting the applications before the deadline
- b) parents/guardians did not submit their applications before the allotted Ministry of Finance deadlines
- c) wrong number issues or claims of wrong applications being submitted on behalf of children.

To serve the public better, the Ministry has officially launched its BTSA support operations at:
Waisomo Basement Operations (Central Division)
- Opening Hours: 8:30 am to 6:30 pm (Monday – Friday)
These extended hours are specifically designed to cater to working parents and guardians who require assistance after standard business hours.
SUPPORT FOR OUTSIDE CENTRAL DIVISION
For parents and guardians located outside of the Central Division, the Ministry has established a Back-to-School helpline for our BTSA Operations.
These lines will be active from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm during weekdays:
