The Research & Development Unit conducts research and provides direction for the Division on internal audit processes, ensuring adherence to the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards.
To achieve the Division’s core objectives, the R&D Unit develops strategies and actively pursues new initiatives that will assist in the streamlining of the Division’s Internal Audit processes.
The Unit also formulates process manuals to provide guidance on Internal Audit, Surcharge and TeamMate activities.
The R&D Unit facilitates:
- Induction of new staff on the Internal Audit process, TeamMate process and general Government machinery;
- Ongoing refresher training on the internal audit approach and TeamMate processes; and
- Awareness on the new Government and Internal Audit initiatives
