INTERNAL AUDIT AND GOOD GOVERNANCE DIVISION

The Internal Audit Unit conducts internal audits for Government Ministries and Departments using a Risk based approach.

The key role of IAGG is to provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve Government’s services.

The Division comprises of the following Units:

• Internal Audit
• Surcharge
• Special Audit
• Research and Development

The Division was established in the early 1970s and renamed the Internal Audit and Good Governance Division in January 2012.
