The Personnel and Post Processing team takes care of all activities and practices relating to employment. This includes leave management, discipline, probations and contracts, development and promotion of employees.

The two Units are led by eleven (11) dynamic members that support the policies, procedures and systems which enable recruitment and retention of highly skilled individuals serving and responding to the public.

The Units are focused on:

  • Leave policies that guarantee the availability of staff and ensure employee satisfaction
  • Discipline is managed to maintain performance standards, fairly and consistently correct and improve behavior/performance
  • Performance management (annual and mid-year) to adhere to Ministry Codes of Conduct, Public Service Values and support individual work performance
  • Open merit recruitment and selection

Our post processing ensures staff adhere to the principles of the Open Merit Recruitment and Selection Guideline (2018). Our recruitment is open and transparent for all. Decision making is transparent and accountable. Selection is based on the requirements of the position. The unit processes around 200 positions annually.
