The Fiji Government and the United Nations met today in Suva to review the Country Implementation Plan (CIP), which will guide the UN’s support to Fiji over a three year period.
The meeting was co-chaired by Fiji’s Minister for Finance, Commerce and Business Development, Hon. Esrom Immanuel and the UN Resident Coordinator Mr. Dirk Wagener.
Participants included government officials, CSO representatives and members of the UN Country Team.
The meeting highlighted the importance of deepening partnership, evidence-based planning, and alignment with national priorities.

Aligned with Fiji’s National Development Plan and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the CIP promotes inclusive, resilient, and sustainable progress. The CIP is expected to be signed by the Government of Fiji and the United Nations in the coming weeks.
