The Minister for Finance received a courtesy call from Mr. John Dregory, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Fiji, reaffirming the strong and longstanding partnership between Fiji and the United States.
Discussions focused on cooperation under the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), including progress toward a proposed Compact Funding Agreement.
The agreement is intended to support shared development priorities and strengthen ongoing collaboration under the MCC framework.
The Minister expressed appreciation to the United States Government for its continued support and reaffirmed Fiji’s commitment to advancing the MCC Compact in line with agreed development objectives.
