The Ministry of Finance successfully concluded stakeholder consultations in Suva with civil society organisations and trade unions as part of the 2026–2027 National Budget process.
The sessions provided a valuable platform for open and constructive dialogue, with participants sharing practical insights and recommendations on key social and economic issues. Civil society representatives highlighted community priorities, while union groups contributed perspectives on workforce welfare and economic resilience.
The Government acknowledges the meaningful contributions made during these engagements and reaffirms its commitment to an inclusive and transparent budget process that reflects the needs and aspirations of all Fijians.
