Minister for Finance, Commerce and Business Development, Hon. Esrom Immanuel, received a courtesy call from Ms. Sarah Rinaldi, Head of Unit for East Asia and the Pacific at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA).
The meeting reaffirmed the long-standing partnership between Fiji and the European Union and discussed continued and new cooperation in key areas, including support for the sugar sector, progress on tax transparency reforms, and EU budget support for climate action.
Both sides underscored their shared commitment to sustainable development, good governance and continued collaboration in addressing regional and global challenges.
