The Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade (MFAET), Hon. Sakiasi Ditoka welcomed the New Zealand’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Rt Hon. Winston Peters, in Nadi last night.
The bilateral meeting marked Minister Ditoka’s first ministerial engagement since assuming his new portfolio this week. Also in attendance were the Minister for Immigration, Hon. Viliame Naupoto, the Minister for Policing and Communications, Hon. Ioane Naivalurua, the Minister for Finance, Commerce and Business Development, Hon. Esrom Immanuel and the Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Hon. Inosi Kuridrani.
The meeting reaffirmed the enduring cooperation and strong friendship between Fiji and New Zealand, underpinned by the Duavata Partnership, which reflects the shared commitment to regional solidarity, peace and prosperity.
