Air Terminal Services Limited (ATS) recognised more than 45 long-serving employees at its Long Service Awards Night held yesterday (10/12/25) at the Crowne Plaza in Nadi. Minister for Finance Hon. Esrom Immanuel described staff as the silent force behind Fiji’s aviation and tourism success.
Minister Immanuel credited ATS employees for their dedication across ground handling, catering, and aircraft preparation, saying their work ensures seamless travel through Fiji.
“When the world experiences smooth travel through Fiji, ATS is behind it all, your work may be unseen, but it is essential,” he said.
He also highlighted ATS’s growth, with its workforce now exceeding 1,000 employees — almost double since post-pandemic operations resumed. Recent land acquisitions for a new inflight catering centre and additional staff parking was also acknowledged.
He praised the strengthened partnership with Fiji Airways, which contributed to the airline winning a prestigious global inflight dining award this year.
The evening honoured staff with 10 to 35 years of service, and tribute paid to both recipients and their families for their loyalty and support.
